Tuesday, November 30, 2010 This is a... LONG POST, as stated. Okay, reluctantly, I am posting about my Yunnan trip Day 3-8 Okies. Day 3 18/11 Arrived at LUOJIAPO XIAOXUE. We had lesson with the students, I took P6, hahah, omg, their english standards actually... IS NOT BAD LAH. What we planned initially... CMI, haix.): Nvrmind. Still had fun. 
Lunch was GUOQIAOMIZIAN, well, NOT BAD (: Afternoon was ploughing, clearing up weeds so that the long jump pit will show itself agn!! But erm, not much of the lane, cos we cleared the other side. Planning for the next day as well as planning for the GALA. Omg lah, Chongyong is, GAY. He keep watching fashion channel, and Jiawei just give a shitload of SARCASTIC comment. That made me laugh like freakin hell. But suddenly, HE ANGRY omg. So fierce. Back to CY, he walk like a model, and took my elmo jacket and walk like as if he was on the runway. LOL. Okay, went to Yingjie's room, and we somehow settled our performance. End of the day, I think I watched Laofuzi. Day 4 19/11 Another awesome day in school. Today, we play more than we teach. MOE's teach less learn more. And yes, they enjoyed it like 473859345 times more. Glad to see that. hahaha awesome kays. erm yeah, after lunch, was teaching agn. 
Landscaping was cancelled due to rain, so everyone had fun time with their kiddos agn! YAY So yeaps, played more also, took class photo, cos tmrw morning will not see them since we took the aftnn): Yeaps. 
Went for JIAFANG also!! The people thr... ARE SO FREAKIN GENEROUS CAN!! Got one of my families, the parent want us to stay for dinner, but we can't, then she super jidong "HEN KUAI DE! YI LIANG GE XIAO SHI JIU ZHU HAO!!!" Omg, we really want to... but haix ): 
Erm... Was dinner steamboat? I forget lah, but the steamboat was.... pretty bad ): No meat, and the beef sucks. After dinner, we are supposed to lightsout super early.... BUDDEN..): We still need to plan. So heh, we didnt plan for GALA, instead, me, CY and hsintung was crazily doing our postersss!! HAHAHA!! Day 5 20/11 Chongyong came down with the posters... DONE. LOL, only the msges are not thr. Last day @ Luojiapo): Landscaping in the morning till ard 1230. AWESOME MAN. The lane is out, the pit is filled with soil!! I think spaceman are so awesome alrightsss!!! (: So glad lah. afternn was GALA. HAHAHA, so cool lah!! What else to say? Not like a great concert, but see them, innocent, young faces singing, dancing etc!! TOUCHED TTM. 
Then is went back to class for like... last interaction? Me and my class just put the poster up and went to play bball. 
It's nice seeing them having so much fun. (: And yes... Parting... CRYING... So unavoidable. I didn't really cry, but still.. sad): What they said... are so touching... And yes, this will be in my memory forever ! Conclusion: the days in luojiapo was really very enriching... We give and take @ the same time. But i think we took home more. It is not just the memories, but the lessons they taught us. What is wrong with living simple life? Nothing, they love it, but we don't. Is being contented so difficult? No, they do it just fine, I mean super awesome. They dont have what PSP, computer, internet freely accessible... But they enjoy their life. What has this gadgets become to in our lives? Indispensable. Attentive, responsive, seems to be a rare sight in SG skus uhh. You know, no matter how boring your lessons are, they will still listen. The passion for learning. Responsive. You asked a question they will definitely answer. Not like SG students. Sincerity. They are damn sincere can can can can. Much more sincere than you and I are to be. (: Yes, so many learning points from them lah, are you feeling inferior? I think I am. So yeah. hahahahahahahha. Moving on. Day 6 21/11 Took another 3.5 hours of bus ride, and reach yuan yang (: HAHA, went to see ti tian. And we alighted at a place, and we walked along the boundary of the ti tian. I thought it was quite a torture alrdy, cos the soil is wet. 
But then I'm wrong. We went to the hu zui? Zomg, we climb all the way down. How you know how difficult it was? Super slippery, super steep, still got freshly bake "chocolate cake"  HAHA, finally we reached, the scene was... Not bad.
Then bad news, have to climb all the way up agn, to see sunset. Zomg, super tiring can. And no water. WTS. Everybody take one sip, then pass on. WTS WTS. hahahaha. But okay, like in 54895945 mins, WE FINALYL REACHED. HOHO Sunset was quite nice. 
Then later got some Ahshima renting their native clothes out. So yeah, we did. 
Alrights done. Day 7 22/11 Local market in the morning... so... cruel.. zomg 
WTH, 7 hours bus ride back to KUNMING!! Omg lah. 
I realise China address very funny hahahah. Reached kunming at ard 5.30, then went to flower market. It was... KINDA A SPREE FOR ME. hahaha (: Then ltr dinner on own. We ate pizza hut. Quite funny LOL. 
SUPER-ME LOL Then go shop. Claud bgt herself a bag (: SHORT AND SWEET. Day 8 23/11 Morning set out early, had pack breakfast. then ltr went to JX. Okay, quite nice. (: 
COOL RIGHT. Still got their opening date wan sia. Dk real anot, but who cares. 
But we climbed 400 stairs down, and 300 stairs up. OMG right, but heng, it was a cable car down, those skyride kind. SUPER AWESOME. Like damn cold, windy and the scene is magnificent. KUDOS. 
Then after a quick lunch, like pretty quick. Rushed to airport. Was super sad... Jiangye jiejie cried.. and we all cried ): ): At first airplane sitting with likai, but I THINK I AM VERY LUCKY, he change seat with Chongyong!! HAHAHA, who cares, maybe he knw it's me, so he change seat, but oh well, at least Chongyong is sitting with me. hahaha 
Then very fast... Back to singapore AGAIN ): @ the airport cried agn. Omg lah. HAHAHA end of the trip alrdy. Super awesome!! (: Okies. Now next part (: Time for some laughter(:

Wednesday, November 24, 2010 Chop chop curry pok! I doubt I still have a chance to hear Coach Choi Lin saying that, and other laughing off. You know, it was hard to part with smiles and laughter... Tears welled up, and eventually overwhelmed by emotions, and it came down onto our cheeks. I am updating now, on the first two days of my Yunnan trip. What an awesome trip I could say, seriously (: When people asked me how was it, i usually replied lidat: Awesome! Cried tgtr, laughed tgtr, sweat tgtr, get scolded tgtr, learnt tgtr, sing tgtr, cheered tgtr. Yes, awesome trip, enjoyed it to the max. Feeling kinda emotional when we left china, and touched down. Esp for me and Claudia, cos we are leaving for IP. I made new friends, i mean, get closer to many friends now. In particularly, Claudia(roommate), Chongyong, Serjean and Huijun. Though it also made me realise that, you may know a person for more than a yr, nearly two, she may not stay true to you forever. And yes, I am touched by serjean's sentence:"It is okay, she found her new friends, and you found us too. Maybe she just think that you have us now, so it's alright." Yes, okay, first two days! FIRST DAY~ 16/11 Waiting for boarding   Took silkair de plane~ I love plane food, but disappointed though for this time.  Upon arrival, taking bus to city   City tour starts now!!   I feel short all of a sudden ):     At the JIN MA BI JI    LOL. So rude omg.  Dinner hehe   End of day 1. DAY TWO 17/11 How cold is this?  3hrs + bus ride to JIANSHUI  I like sunglasses, cos it makes my eyes look big (:  Some place in Zhang Residence  This door has meaning de... But i forget lerh  Kitchen! We helped out alrights!!     Lunch, really is home cooked food you know. SO ORGANIC, NO MEAT.   Guided tour @ Zhang residence. Learnt about the culture over there. People thr are like so... "outdated" LOL But contented with their life.  This is a very good learning point.   BAI REN GE!  Around the Zhang residence   Comparable to Chung Cheng lake. Omg this is damn pain    Coach Choi Lin sitting on chair specially made for beggars. LOL  @ Wen Miao  COOL SKY RIGHT  Guided tour in Wen Miao  Kongzi's forehead is dent, cos he was badly molested @ the head by people last time. This is like scholar one side, warrior one side thing. Idk LOL  Incense thingy, but we can't burn incense. Irony?  Cute right    Don and Zhenan go try archery, not bad lah they all.   After that got some shopping time. My group: Hsintung, Yingjie, Huijun, Serjean and Claudia Bgt nth except this... FROZEN BING TANG CAO MEI. SUPER NICE CAN.    Had dinner and went back to hotel for reflection session. It was 2hrs long LOL. First day was 1 1/2 hrs long. So yeah! BUTT PAIN AND GREAT LECTURE THAT SETS YOU THINKING AND INSPIRED!! Ps, the soy milk was so different from what i drank in Shandong...
